Bringing Language Learning to Life!

HELLO EVERYONE WELCOME BACK TO MY BLOG!

This week, we prepared a study within the scope of AI in ELT in the current issues in teaching course.

 Creating our AI-integrated EFL teaching material was such a fun and collaborative journey! We focused on helping students boost their creativity and language skills by designing superheroes using AI tools.

I was in charge of the Target Task, where students used an AI image generator to bring their unique superhero ideas to life. 

My friends, Selinnaz Duysak and Nisa Nur Hocaoğlu, handled the Pre-task and Post-task activities, ensuring everything flowed smoothly and encouraged reflection.

 We brought it all together in Canva, making the material both practical and visually appealing. This project was a great opportunity to explore how AI can make language learning more interactive and engaging. It’s exciting to see how these tools can inspire students and bring a fresh vibe to the classroom!
